The Gallery is CMK’s contemporary arm. It focuses on the country’s active talent, and hosting talks, screenings, workshops, and more.
The 1200 sq. ft. space supports various configurations with the use of movable walls on wheels.
A total of about 40 pieces of artwork can be exhibited altogether. The floor, as a way to incorporate Nepalipan into the modern architecture, has been finished with red mud to emulate the tradition of Nepali homes.
Admission to the gallery is free, unless otherwise noted for specific occasions. This space can also be rented for private events. It accommodates 50–75 people on the comfortable side, and 75–100 on the tighter side.
The Gallery is located on the 3rd floor, next to the Museum.
