Fashion showcase: Daljit Sudan
Artist and fashion designer, Daljit Sudan, announces an exhibition of her Fall-Winter Collection 2014 at the City Museum Kathmandu, Durbar Marg, on September 6 and 7 from 11 am to 5.30 pm.
Included in the collection are ethnic, contemporary and fusion wear for women and men. The collection includes silks, georgettes, chiffon and wool embellished with beads (pote), silk embroidery, applique and lace. Kashmiri ethnic jamawar shawls will also be showcased. Men’s collection includes pathani suit and formal kurta with jacket and waistcoats and women’s collection includes dhoti pants and kurtas, salwar kameez, trousers, jackets, waistcoats, tunics, skirts and winter coats. Invitation is open to all.
